We started our day by bringing Farhah & Luqman for a swim in the park’s indoor pool. But not for long…it turned out that an adult must accompany the children in the pool & I didn’t have any swimming attire…hmm ksian Luqman. But at least dapat la dia main kejap in d pool.

We later travelled west to Norwich, about half our drive from Caister. There we visited the Castle Mall, the Norwich Castle itself, ronda-ronda in the town centre, dropped by the Forum (which design is quite futuristic) as well as McD for lunch. Next on the agenda was the Norwich’s Riverside development area, which is quite nice…combining new and old properties. Sempat gak singgah Norwich City Football Club…which is sponsored by Proton of course. Nampaknye this city is quite interesting and nicely laid-out with the river front as its strong selling point.

After all that, we shifted our attention further north, to Cromer and Sheringham…about 30-40 minutes drive from Norwich. It looks like all of these seaside towns are catering to the seasonal tourists…with casinos, souvenir outlets and beach-side amusement parks (sometimes on a pier) everywhere…and not to mention small hotels and B&Bs… front of the Norwich Castle...tak tau la apasal semuanye tgh lollypopping...

depan Norwich's futuristic Forum...ada library, Info centre & BBC

...jom beli rumah kat sini...tak dapat beli 2...beli 4 pun jadi laaa... of the places where you can find more Proton per square foot in UK

Kat Sheringham...

apa la org ni...tak penah tengok bird ke...gambar kita pun dia nak snap...

...and they've arrived

on d way...Luqman ke-boring-an
yeaa...dah sampai
...inside the caravan
A reservation has been arranged…payment made…and the Spacewagon Evo IX all checked…so off to Norfolk we went (home of Lord Nelson)…staying at Caister’s Seashore Haven Holiday caravan park. Upon arrival…surprise…surprise…we were placed in a 3-room & much bigger caravan and not the smaller 2-room unit as originally booked…alhamdullillah.

Caister is located in Norfolk…right next to its much more famous Great Yarmouth neighbour. The caravan park is situated next to the beach and a wind farm can clearly be seen a short distance from the shore. This wind farm is one of the few in the UK being used to generate energy…as part of the approach taken in finding an alternative method of generating energy. And these wind turbines are really humungous…

...they have arrived indeed...but strange coz these UFOs are propeller-powered

and how big are they you asked...just look at the size of the boat next to them

posing sat kat depan kebun angin (wind farm laa...)

my Sayang & me terjumpa lak ada tunggul kayu kat situ...romantik ekk...

Three families joined us for dinner tonite…newcomer Muzamil/Fida & family, Shahrin/Zuraini with their two boys who are leaving Notts next week and finally Airil/Lin and their children. Lin & the children will leave for M’sia soon…leaving Airil solo in Notts for about 6 months…ksian dia… My Sayang prepared udang sweet sour, grilled chicken, and mixed veggie Chinese-style… and macam biasa laa… sedap hingga menjilat pinggan….

...sunny blue skies & smiles all around...aah...ain't life grand

It was sunny today with the sun making its appearance and warm weather all around. Of course with the kids having their 2-week Easter school break, it was quite hard for them to just stay at home…so off to Forest Field we went…for the first time since last autumn…for some playground time…and ice cream of course (sponsored by Uncle Elyas)
