Today we felt d urge to experience d Mediterranean Sea...so we headed down south in d morning. Our 1st stop was d city of Malaga, about 140 km from Granada. As other cities that we've visited, there r a lot of historical buildings n sites in Malaga, n while driving around we also came across a Masjid. D Masjid looked as if it has just been built and still not in use but we couldn't find any info to confirm this. So, after finding a parking area, with narrow parking bays as usual, we set to ronda2 on foot. We visited la Alcazaba Moorish fortress (1065), Teatro Romano, d Baroque Cathedral as well as observing some new modern buildings (sometimes minimalist) in contrast with d old structures. At Teatro Romano, an excavation is taking place, probably there's a lot more that can be discovered underneath d old site. We also took some time to drive along its beach...fronting d Mediterranean Sea.

D Mediterranean Sea...aaa yes...speaking of this, we travelled further in d south-west direction, to find a proper beach for us to feel d Mediterranean Sea ourselves. So our next destination are d beaches of Costa del Sol. After about 65 km, we reached Marbella and not knowing d exact beach that we want to sample, I just took one of d exits n arrived at Playa de Casablanca. On d way there, we passed by a Masjid and made a note to stop by there on d way back later.

So, here we r...on d beach...n we had our lunch there...tapi biasa la...under d trees n not on d sand n under d sun like d rest of d people there. Then we realised that d beach here can be 'tanpa atas'...n there r a lot of 'examples' available in front of us... Nadia n Tasya were grinning to see this...well it is not something that they observe regularly. After sampling d sea, we headed back n dropped by at d Masjid. We were suprised bcoz when we arrived there, azan for Asr can be heard on d loud speakers outside...alhamdullillah...n this did not happen even in UK!!

Soon afterward we were heading back to Granada. Initially I had planned to go as far as Algeciras or even Tarifa, where d Mediterranean Sea meets with d Atlantic Ocean. But, memikirkan it would take us quite far bila nak balik to Granada n that we need our energy to ronda2 kat Alhambra tomorrow, we ditched d plan. So we drove home but taking a different route from Malaga onwards (thru Motril)...we took Autovia del Mediterranoe (d Mediterranean Hi-way), which is not dissimilar to California's Pacific Coast Hi-way (dah sampled that dah...eons ago...again). It was very a scenic drive with many towns n settlements along d coast...covering a distance of about 230 km (Marbella-Malaga-Motril-Granada). There's a lot of tunnels n high bridges n kalu ada M'sian minister tengok n see that there is no toll...sure nangis punye. After d coastal hiway, we experienced Autovia de Sierra Nevada pulak, which is a hiway crossing a mountain range. Overall, it really was n excellent drive, along d ocean n then d mountain...may b need to do it again some other time...hhmm.

After arriving in Granada n rested a bit, we went out sekejap...just to see if there is any cyber cafe still open, tapi tak kesampaian, so we just walked around, n of course, Elyas again withdraw more money from d local ATM...again...hihi...banyak betul budget pakcik sorang nihh...
