Since we were registered as voters in d Sepang parliamentary area, we traveled to Bt Laut in d early morning. After a nasi lemak sotong breakfast stop in Banting, we dropped d kids @ MIL's place n then were driven to d polling station in Kundang by Bg Ana as she was one of d 'official drivers' (meaning paid to drive voters around laa...). One thing about mengundi in this area was that it was quite meriah...but not many people visited Pas's booth though.
It took me less than 10 minutes to cast my vote as I was one of those placed in a less crowded saluran. And...of course I took fotos while in d voting cubicle...both before and after d pangkah...hihi.
All in all, it was a great day for those who casted their votes...n lots of foto opportunities as well.
D scene right outside d polling station in Kundang...this Jazz/Fit is pro-BN...
...while this 4X4 is pro-Opposition
u don't have to guess which party this abang is rooting for...
my Sayang...agaknye looking for inspiration while queuing up to vote...by this time I've done mine (in a different saluran)
...wahhh...so hepi after completing her responsibility
aaa...this is my voting paper...this is b4 d pangkah. D pangkah(ed) one...no need to show laa...
Anyhow, 3 of d candidates r engineers (with Ir. along with their names) - both d Pas candidates n Dato' Zin of BN...so...basically it was a fight among professionals for this area.
d scene outside of Selangor's SUK the following morning (Sunday 090308)...after BN lost d state. There were some reports of attempts by 'certain parties' to enter SUK over d nite. So, d police came n provide some visual n physical obstacles. (Note: last 2 fotos by hanfon...sori kureng sikit...)
By d way, went to d pasar on Sunday morning n overheard d following:
"...bagus gak Shah Alam kalah (for BN), sebab selama ni kalau letak beruk...beruk pun boleh menang..."
"...tu la ari tu dia (ex MB) bagi penyapu...sekarang ni dia yang kena penyapu..."
