...Ciao Italia - Day 10 - Milano

...just follow d signage...to San Siro stadium...
...n here it is
afterwards...d empty Metro
Similar to other cities in Italia, most of d places in Milano closed on Sunday as well. So...in d morning we headed off to one of d most famous stadium possibly in d world...d San Siro stadium or its official name of Stadio Giuseppe Meazza. We took a tram which last stop is d stadium itself. For those not in d know...this is d home ground for both Inter Milan n AC Milan...bagus gak sharing of venue ni...less wastage probably.

Afterwards, we moved back to d city centre n jengok2 some of d shops that r opened. Much later we took a subway to d end of its line in Fiera Milano, d city's exhibition centre but there's nothing on show. This is d last nite in Milano n Italia, so we just ronda2 somemore touring d various sites within d city.

Here we are at d San Siro stadium...home for Associazione Calcio Milan n Internazionale Milano

D sharing of facilities is also extended to d souvenir shop...on one side d Adidas kits for AC Milan r displayed...

...n on d other portion, d kits for Inter Milan by Nike r on show

We r sharing some 'smiling moments' here with one of AC Milan's legends...Rudd Gullit. This is right outside d stadium's museum. Inside u can observe some of d cups that d teams have previously won...very likely replica of d cups I think

Orait...time to move on...but not b4 foto op outside d stadium. U can see how big it is...just compared its scale with d cars parked next to it.

Back in d city centre n came across this roadwork...opening up d cobble street for upgrading of services or something similar must be quite a nitemare...as d contractor must be able to put d stones together again...just like jigsaw puzzle...n that is why these stones were numbered...I guess laa.

Travelling by tram to d end of its line brought us to this halal pizzaria...run by a group of Lebanese if I m not mistaken...merasa jugak ngunyah pizza kat Italia nihh...hihi. A word of caution...most of d ready-made pizza dough in Italian supermarkets have lard as part of d ingredients. So, don't just belasah eventho it is veggie pizza....

This neighborhood is in d periphery of d city...very likely low middle-class...but quite colorful n lots of immigrant families...

I still remember d Lambretta brand back home since I was pre-school...n look how it is being promoted now...don't really know whether it is using d name of Pato, d AC Milan's Brazilian player or not...

Returning to d CBD n we visited some of d stores open for business. Italian really loved their espresso/cappuccino...n here u can have d various colorful selections of d espresso/cappuccino makers

our next stop was Fiera Milano...n d Metro was quite deserted since d place is at d end of its route

n since this is d last day in Milan...I just took some fotos of its skyline from our hotel window in d afternoon...

...n also later that nite.
