Received a letter few weeks back requesting my presence for a workshop in Seremban on 17 n 18 Nov...actually to participate in preparing IIUM audit report for MQA [M'sian Qualification Agency laa]. But with d school holiday n whats not, we took d opportunity to go a day earlier n parked d whole family in PD.
N staying in PD is another story in itself. I've booked an apartment on-line n paid d deposit but when we arrived there d place is just like a ghost-town...almost peopleless n with a run down 'maintenance-free' facilities. We ceq-out Chorus n was approached immediately after parking our Wish by a 'care-taker' [he managed 15 of d apartments there...dia cakap la] n we settled on a penthaus unit...well below d usual 'hotel rate' but with access to all facilities...hihi.
Sunday...our 1st nite out... in PD, trying out d kue teow goreng at PD's seaside Benteng Malam
Monday morning...over our penthaus's balcony...Luqman enjoying a Vitagen while d sun is rising
Later in d afternoon...he is oredi launching himself into d pool...
it was raining on n off earlier...so we stay put under d big umbrella while Luqman was flapping around in d pool
black with envy...instead of green...this gagak must be a regular customer here...looking for people's left-over I guess
Yesterday...after ceqing-in into Royale Bintang Seremban where d workshop is held, we headed to Seremban Parade for makan2 jap
Subuh today...from d hotel's window...d town of Seremban was just waking up from its slumber...Masjid Negeri on d right n Seremban Parade on d left
After d completion of d workshop, we travelled home but with a detour to Putrajaya. D kids were saying all d buildings were classy while Luqman opined that it is 'very clean'. This is d 1st time that I see this Putrajaya Corp building up close
We also drove to d 'for maintenance staff only' entrance n got near to this landmark of Menara Alaf Baru [what a grand name...huhh]
Putra Bridge used to be closed to traffic but not anymore...so we stopped while on d bridge n captured this...n as per usual...d sky was quite gloomy
